What we do...

FLTR:ED is committed to providing high quality medical education that is filtered for you!

Dedicated to advancing knowledge and skills in Emergency Medicine, Trauma and Pre-Hospital and Critical Care our sessions are delivered by expert clinical educators including Directors of Emergency Medical Training, Paediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians and highly experienced clinicians working in the retrieval and the pre-hospital space.

Our curriculum is versatile and emphasises practical application, ensuring relevance for healthcare professionals working in a variety of clinical settings. The program is specifically designed to cater to a wide spectrum of professionals — whether you are a senior clinician, medical trainee, paramedic, or nurse, we aim to provide valuable, actionable knowledge that you can directly incorporate into your clinical practice.

Explore the core principles underlying resuscitation and trauma care. Cover topics in advanced decision-making, leadership, communication and evidence-based practices. Our speakers share wisdom gained from operating daily in challenging environments outside of the conventional hospital setting — on the road, in the air, or in resource-limited environments, delivering lessons in leadership, adaptability, and clinical prioritisation.

Throughout the conference, you'll delve into evidence-based approaches across a variety of specialist topics ensuring a comprehensive educational experience that broadens your clinical expertise and enhances your capacity to deliver high-quality care in any context. Whether you're practicing in a bustling urban trauma center or a remote community clinic. This is more than just a conference — it's an opportunity to be inspired, to learn from real-world experiences, and to elevate your practice.

Your ongoing medical education is important - our commitment is to deliver exceptional, relevant and practice changing content...

Why we do it...

As frontline clinicians we understand the demands of the job and the importance of rest and reflection. We hope that continuing your medical education in a relaxing holiday destination will provide a much needed break, help to stave off burnout and re-invigorate the passion for the phenomenal work that you all do.

Additionally, as clinicians that are passionate about medical eduction, we feel very privileged to be able to support the education and training of local Fijian clinicians by offering non-profit access to our sessions.

Finally, we believe in promoting awareness of the important topics in our field. As such, a portion of your registration will be donated to a cause close to our hearts - and help continue the amazing work done by Dr. Ben McKenzie on Anaphylaxis and Asthma Resuscitation (www.AMAX4.org).
