Led by expert educators including Directors of Emergency Medical Training, Paediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians and clinicians working in the retrieval and the pre-hospital space - our sessions offer evidence-based insights grounded in real world experience.
We place a strong emphasis on practical application, ensuring relevant content across a wide range of settings, from urban trauma centres to remote or resource-limited environments. Whether you're a senior doctor, nurse, paramedic or trainee, FLTR:ED provides content that you can directly incorporate into your clinical practice.
Topics include:
- Core principles and advanced decision making in resuscitation and trauma care
- Clinical leadership and communication under pressure
- Evidence based insights from a range specialists from outside of the critical care world
Speakers share lessons learned from frontline practice - in hospitals, on the road or in the air - offering insight into critical decision making under pressure.
At FLTR:ED we believe your time is valuable, that's why we're committed to bringing you exceptional education that's focussed, practical and filtered for you...

Why we do it
As frontline clinicians we understand the demands of the job and the importance of rest and reflection. We hope that continuing your medical education in a relaxing holiday destination will provide a much needed break, help to stave off burnout and re-invigorate the passion for the phenomenal work that you all do.
As clinicians that are passionate about medical eduction, we will also be sharing our medical expertise and fostering knowledge exchange by offering free access to selected doctors and nurses from each of Fiji's three divisional emergency departments - CWM, Lautoka, and Labasa. This initiative aims to promote regional collaboration and build lasting connections amongst emergency clinicians to help enhance patient care across the region.
